SBA Gives: Home is Where the Heart Is

Our 2019 Community Giving Campaign was “Home is Where the Heart Is” –  a fundraiser for The Road Home of Dane County! The Road Home provides opportunities for homeless children and their families to achieve self-determined goals and affordable, stable housing.

Our goal was to raise enough funds and supplies to help 10 local families avoid homelessness. We did this through a Diaper Drive, a Giving Tree, an Ian’s Pizza Dough Raiser, a staff Lip Sync Contest, by selling Candy Grams to our residents, and other fun competitive events.

We’re proud to share that in 2019, we raised $6,000 and 12,773 diapers for The Road Home of Dane County!

100% of the donations are going directly to the families: Diaper donations will be distributed to families throughout the year, and dollar donations will be used to provide emergency assistance with rent and deposit payments.
