SBA Gives: Home is Where the Heart Is

Our 2020 Community Giving Campaign was “Home is Where the Heart Is” –  a fundraiser for The Road Home of Dane County! The Road Home provides opportunities for homeless children and their families to achieve self-determined goals and affordable, stable housing.

Our goal was to raise enough funds and supplies to help 12 local families avoid homelessness. We did this through a Diaper Drive, a Giving Tree, an Ian’s Pizza Dough Raiser, a staff Lip Sync Contest, Candy Grams and other fun competitive events.

We’re proud to share that in 2020, we raised $7,722 and 18,857  diapers for The Road Home of Dane County!

100% of the donations are going directly to the families: Diaper donations will be distributed to families throughout the year, and dollar donations will be used to provide emergency assistance with rent and deposit payments.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this campaign and for helping us support families in the Madison area!

Special thanks to our donors and sponsors:  Hausmann-Johnson Insurance, Brownhouse Design, Robert Half, Inner Fire Yoga, Bloom Bake Shop, KMA Bodilly CPAs & Consultants, S.C., Advanced Disposal, Green Cleaners, Terminator Pest Control, Madison Mallards, Madison Capitols, Crystal Morgan, Pampered Chef, Arbic’s Taxidermy, 9 Lives Rescue, RBC Wealth Management, Creative Solutions, JH Findorff & Son Inc, Olson Toon Landscaping, T.C. Carpet Care, Ian’s Pizza Madison

The Road Home believes that every child deserves a home. We are happy to support their efforts to make sure that every child in our community has one.
