Corporate Housing FAQs

What is included in a corporate apartment?

We provide furniture, housewares, linens, home electronics, and can provide home décor, area rugs, and even the pictures on the walls! At least one large television is included in every apartment. Utilities and telephone service are also included in our rental fees.

Specially requested furnishings or additions to standard packages can almost always be accommodated, but are not included in SBA Corporate Housing rental fees. Weekly housekeeping service is also available as an add-on.

If I’m looking for an unfurnished apartment with a short-term lease, is SBA Corporate Housing is right for me?

Not necessarily, and in most cases, no. SBA Corporate Housing accommodates shorter-term leases during certain months but we almost always requires that a lease be longer than three month’s in length and that the corporate client select from one of our furnishings packages.

Generally, the contract term is shorter than a conventional 12-month lease, but the contract is almost always priced much higher to account for the many items and services include in an all-inclusive SBA Corporate Housing contract.

While you should certainly contact Steve Brown Apartments if you are specifically looking for a shorter lease term than 12-months, (and we may be offering that service at one of our many properties at any given time), the SBA Corporate Housing program cannot provide unfurnished apartments at the regular monthly rate for a short term rental period.

What is the difference between SBA Corporate Housing and other corporate housing providers in Madison, WI?

No other property management companies or property owners in south-central Wisconsin have a formal Corporate Housing division specialist like SBA Corporate Housing. Few others, if any, fully understand the expectations and unique needs of a corporate housing client.

Steve Brown Apartments can provide innovative solutions to meet client needs, such as custom billing, hand-selected furnishing packages, flexible rates and bundles, and onsite service personnel.

Providing the finest service, in the most locations, SBA Corporate Housing is the best value in Madison for those looking for accommodations during an extended stay away from home.

Are pets welcome?

We do have properties that can accommodate cats and dogs. These communities are extremely popular, and availability may be limited. Most locations have a pet weight limit and require an additional pet deposit.

Is there a minimum length of stay?

At times, a 90-day minimum stay is available. This is based on current market analysis of risk and supply on hand. During the summer months, we may be able to provide 30-60 day stays based on availability. A minimum 12-month contract is preferred and will provide the best rates. We cannot legally offer stays that are less than 30 days.
