Steve Brown Apartments is thrilled to support two wonderful local organizations this November: Second Harvest and The Madison Reading Project.

Second Harvest

Second Harvest of South Central Wisconsin is a nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger in the community.

Residents and staff are encouraged to donate non-perishable goods from November 11th through December 6th.

Food donation barrels will be available at the following locations:

How to Participate: Non-perishable food item donations can be placed in the Second Harvest donation barrels starting 11/11 through 12/6.

Madison Reading Project

The Madison Reading Project is a nonprofit organization focused on promoting literacy and a love for reading among children in the community. Steve Brown Apartments is raising funds and collecting books for their Annual Community Book Drive.

Book donation bins will be available at the following locations from 11/11-12/2:

How to Participate:

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Week 1 – Nov 11th-15th – Jean Sticker Sales Start

1 Book/$5 = 1 Jean Sticker, max 15 stickers.

Week 2 – Nov 18th-21st – Prize Drawing

1 Book/$5 = 1 Entry for Prize Drawing. Prize: One winner from each team will be able to choose a $100 gift card OR (4) Aquavia Lumina tickets in the Wisconsin Dells + $25 Kwik Trip GC.

Week 3 – Nov 26th-27th – PTO Drawing

Receive a drawing entry for every $5 donated or for each new book you donate. Prize: One winner from each team will be able to choose a PTO Day or a $50 Gift Card. The drawing will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27.

Finale – We will receive a special visit from the Madison Reading Project Bus on Giving Tuesday (12/3).

THAT’S NOT ALL – If your team donates 100 books during the campaign, you will receive donuts and coffee in December!
