2024 SBA Gives: Home is Where the Heart Is

Steve Brown Apartments is excited to announce our 2024 Community Giving Campaign: Home is Where the Heart Is. SBA’s Home is Where the Heart Is Campaign has raised over $40,000 since 2019, which goes directly to organizations helping our community’s most vulnerable.

This year, we have selected Briarpatch Youth Services as the campaign’s beneficiary. Briarpatch offers various services and programs to youth experiencing homelessness or facing other challenges, including a small shelter space at their Rimrock Road location.

The funds and donations raised during our 2024 campaign will convert a portion of Briarpatch’s building from a simple office space into a multi-purpose lounge where the youth they serve can create community and find belonging. Brownhouse Designs has generously donated the interior design plan for the new lounge – through this campaign we’ll be bringing their vision to life!

We have a full schedule of events running internally with our staff, including jean days, a baked treat box competition, PTO bingo, a basketball bracket challenge, a silent auction, and more!

Here’s How You Can Help:

Monetary Donation: Monetary Donations will go directly to completing the new lounge space at Briarpatch. Donations will help us purchase new rugs, lighting, textiles & more! Checks can be made payable to SBA Management Services, Inc. Please put Briarpatch as the payment memo. Monetary donations are due by Friday, April 5th

We will gladly pick up your donation, or you can mail or deliver it to our offices at 120 W. Gorham St., Madison, WI 53703. Your donaton is tax-deductible, Briarpatch is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Thank you for supporting our SBA Gives Campaign!
