SBA Gives

We are thrilled to share the results of our 2025 SBA Gives Spring Event. Thanks to your amazing generosity, we raised over ten thousand dollars and collected nearly two thousand household essentials for The Road Home Dane County. Your support provides vital comfort and dignity to local families as they work toward achieving stable long-term housing.

At Steve Brown Apartments, we believe the holiday spirit is all about coming together. Through our SBA Gives program, our staff and residents proudly supported local initiatives like the Second Harvest Food Drive, the Madison Reading Project book drive, and holiday gift programs. Thank you for helping us strengthen our community and spread joy this season.

We are proud to announce the successful completion of the 2024 SBA Gives Campaign. Thanks to the generosity of our staff and vendors, we raised over sixteen thousand dollars to transform an office space at Briarpatch Youth Services into a beautiful, multi-purpose lounge for local youth. Discover how our community came together to make a difference.

We did it! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our residents, vendors, and community, the 2023 Home is Where the Heart Is campaign raised over 10,000 dollars and 524 towels for The Salvation Army of Dane County. We are so proud to support their vital mission of providing emergency sheltering and services for families in need.

SBA Gives is proud to host a summer book drive in support of the Madison Reading Project. We are collecting new and gently used books for local children in need from June 14th to 18th. Whether you donate books, shop our Amazon wish list, or order cake, you can help us reach our goal of 200 books.

In 2018, Steve Brown Apartments proudly supported The Beacon, a Dane County resource center for individuals experiencing homelessness. By donating toward a new shuttle, we helped ensure guests could easily access critical services in one convenient location. We remain dedicated to supporting organizations that address homelessness and provide dignity to those in our community.

SBA Gives is proud to sponsor a family through The Road Home of Dane County’s Second Chance Apartment Program. By providing ten thousand dollars in annual rent support, we empower families to gain financial stability and secure permanent housing.
